The concept behind buying links is to build up backlinks to your website. Which everyone knows that more backlins means better rankings in search engines. But how can you tell on what links to buy and what links to not to buy. I will give some useful tips of experience I have came across and what I have heard.
What links should I buy?
Well in most cases people buy links on the sites Page Rank. Since the higher PR the site has the better the backlink to your site is. But not always, sometimes a PR5 can be stronger then a PR7. Probaly thinking how is that possible? Well if the PR7 has about 50 outgoing links but the PR5 has only 10 outgoing links, then the PR5 will most likely have a bigger impact. But lately I have learned to love SEOmoz tool Page Strength which gives you more of a value of a link outside just google's page rank.

- Gains a backlink
- Gets a higher Page Rank
- Get higher results in search engines
- Can benefit a lot more in the long run
Con's
- User can delete your link (So always bookmark the links you buy just incase)
- Link can be a fake PR (make sure you always check that first, click here to check)
Bottom Line
The bottom line is that buying links is a risk. Pretty much like everything else in life. But if you buy someone that you can trust and has feedback from other people then you should be ok. But always make sure you bookmark and keep track on what links you buy and for the time period you bought it for. If you do this then you shouldn't have any problems. Also never jump into people's sales, a lot of times people will give you a high price and if you kindly deny then most likely they will offer a lower price. If worse comes to worse and they don't offer a lower price and you want your link on the site you can always contact them again and make up an excuse.
